2. i cannot shave without taking a pause and going into the living room for no reason
3. i cannot sit straight and write a paper without interrupting it with some nonsensical activity
4. i cannot begin to write a paper until every piece of research i have is perfect. i will spend dozens of hours just researching every minute little detail i can possibly research. just when i begin to write a paper, i find MORE things to research.
5. i forget things instantly. for example, the laptop would be two feet away. i would think of something to look up. yet, when i open the laptop and go to google or something, i have already forgotten what it was that i needed to look up.
6. a couple of years ago, i was famous for misplacing things, such as, putting the milk in the cupboard and the cereal box in the fridge. or putting some thing where it couldn't possibly be found.
so...what the hell is going on?
Answer:
you are suffering from what i may call superficial depression at it's peak...try to let go of all bad experience and grudges...take part in persuasive conversations often and share you problems..i think that would help...it happened to me too but it's gone now.
I have some of the same behaviors i think professional help is want we need.God bless
I don't really believe that you have a huge problem.
You may just be trying to immerse yourself in too many projects at once.
Try to compartmentalize all of your current activities and then bring just one out of it's metaphorical box for perusal and action.
Just try to concentrate completely on one activity at a time.
It sounds to me like you have a lot on your mind and you should try to relax and just try to forget everything for a minute. As far as the pauses and walking fight the urge to do these things if they bother you that much.
^It sounds like you may have a form of A D D or A H A D, both of these are treatable. Please see the sites below, if it sounds like you, go to your doctor for help, many great people have some form or it. Good luck, I hope this helps.
YOU JUST PROBABLY NEED HELP OR SOMEBODY IN YOUR FAMILY CAN TEACH YOU WHERE TO PUT THINGS
You may have what my fiance has. Racing thought syndrome. Very often it's misdiagnosed as ADD or Bipolar Disorder. The racing thoughts cause you to not be able to complete a task, like ADD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Counseling can help (also help diagnose correctly) and if you don't like taking meds and dealing with all the bad side effects there's always herbal. My fiance has been taking something called Natura Relief, we found on line. It takes a few weeks to start working but so do meds. It has stuff in it like ginko biloba (for memory), St. Johns Wart, Valerian Root, Skullcap, etc. It's a blend of natural mood stabilizers and calming ingredients. I feel for you, it's like torture. Please stay positive. Research and having someone to talk to will help you understand and get treatment. Blessings!
