Answer:
Intelligence does not neccesarily give someone good critical thinking skills. Many people make comments about how everyone is entitled to their own opinion, which they are.
However, not all opinions are equal and depending on the subject matter and facts at least one person's opinion of an issue is just plain wrong.
Intelligence is just one of the many factors that goes into calculating whether someone's opinion is worth accepting or at least researching.
If someone asks my opinion it must be of some value.
How deep. I wish i was more awake to put more thought into this. I dont think intelligence makes your opinions more worthy than those of other people, however, knowledge will allow you to give a better argument....

i dont think so. you dont have to have a PhD to know if something is right or wrong. i think everyone has a point of view worth listening to.
Intelligence itself is up for debate - stupid and ignorant.
Rarely is the worth of an opinion determined by the person it accompanies, rather the majority of opinions.
However, in a more personal way, how seriously someone takes an opinion is usually caused by the intelligence of the person with the opinion. This isn't so much shallow as it is, "How much did you think this through?"
i think every ones opinion has the same amount of value, because if you just listen to one persons you get know where but where that one person wants to lead to if you listen and take in every ones you can learn from the others take and give and there for come up with the best possible road to go down.

All opinions are of value to the person who holds them or they would not hold them. And why not , If opinions matter at all.

Opinions are just opinions; intelligence doesn't always come into play. As long as all the people giving opinions have the cognitive ability to understand the objective facts of a situation, everyone's subjective opinion is of equal value. (This is not always the case, though; some people may not have the cognitive ability to understand much of anything. For instance, my sister, who works with residentially placed mentally retarded clients - most of whom have NO measurable IQ - always gets in trouble with some MR civil rights place because she doesn't sign them up to vote! I mean, she knows that she would just be voting for them!)

No , your opinions are not less a value, in fact each persons own opinion makes up the collective of an intelligent persons intelligence.

You would have to grade ones intelligences, before you could judge ones opinion. Besides ones opinion is valid only if It's
proactive.
It doesnt matter how intelligent you are. An opinion is an opinion no matter who you are. if everyone had the same intelligence all opinions would be the same
I like intelligent people's opinion, but i would appreciate an experienced person's opinion even more.
General knowledge is only a small part of a person's intelligence, so it's quite likely for you to have a meaningful conversation, receive advice from & valuable opinions from someone with "less" intelligence than you.
One of my closest friends is a super intelligent being, but is SOOOOOO dumb sometimes! She has NIL common sense, & it drives me insane. Unless I'm asking her an academic question, I wouldn't consider her opinion to be more valuable than anothers.
An opinion is just that - an opinion. It should not be confused with an answer, an opinion is a statement which is not considered definative - i.e. it is my opinion that the sky is a pale shade of cobalt but in my sisters opinion it is azure, so which of our opinions has the greater value. To add to that, my sister is an artist while I am a carpenter - but I have a friend who agrees with me - so I have numbers on my side, while she has a familiarity with colour! And, if all our IQ's are equal which of our opinions has the greater value - God I love "Answers"

Of course not, an opinion is usually based personal experience or the experience of those around us. Intelligence has no bearing on a conclusion someone else may draw about life or anything else.
