Should we believe what people tell us?
Answer:
Always evaluate for yourself before refuting or believing a claim. That is why you go to school - to learn to NEVER believe anything until you check it out for yourself.
When you can afford to wait and investigate, do so, without seeming to reject, if you can express with tact whatever necessary to help the other person be at ease.
Each situation will be different. I think you should consider a range of possible responses to what people tell you. Some times you can afford to express doubt, and other times you might be better off seeming to accept what the person says, but checking it out always is the best way to go if you can.
always ALWAYS see for yourself and don't believe in anything that doesn't make sense and has something solid to back itself up
we shouldnt believe right away
we should investigate first specialy if its something of importance
we have much to make use of, we have the internet etc
It depends on the kind of person who is speaking to you..
If you think there are traces of truth in the words of people who are speaking to you...you should trust them..the choices are yours.
There are two ways to slide easily through life: to believe everything or to doubt everything; both ways save us from thinking
Personally I trust every friend and I believe whatever friend tell me. I do not doubt my friend unless it turn out to be untrue. But even that if they say sorry, I am happy and will believe them again. Because I believe in whatever friend tell me and friend know I believe in them, they trusted me and I believe they will not tell lie to me. This is what are friends for.
It really depends. If you care enough of what they say to you then investigate yourself before believing in it.
i dont take anyones word as 100% truth. and it has nothing to do with me being bitter or jaded. I think its the individuals responsibility to discover their own truth. research, investigate and conclude independent of any other input. if we all did that...yeah well.wishful thinking i guess...
Why would you want to believe in a lie? That's harmful to you and to the liar. And it keeps them lying to others. Believing in a lie makes no sense. Even when child lie. It's different when a 3 yr old tells you that they are a princess and their bedroom is their castle. It's ok to go along with that. It's good for a child to have an imagination. But when a child gets to about 9 or 10 and starts lying about school work or about he said to a friend. These things aren't good to believe in becuz you are enforcing bad behavior. These lies aren't part of imagination.
Some lies I do ignore and leave it alone. It depends who the person is, what the lie is and who it involves and how it will effect others. Some lies I will look into and talk to my neighbor or my son's friend or a relative to get to the bottom of it. Not to be able to call the person a liar but to find the truth so the lie is stopped from spreading any farther.
never believe any1. never. i would not.
There is a peom by Mr. Thiruvalluvar* in Tamil, which states that
"What u see with ur own eyes are wrong; What u hear with your ears are wrong; the truth lies in enquiring completely"
For example, you may hear a sound of a girl screaming, but if u rush, there might be a television channel running.
Similarly, you can see a girl crying and you cannot interpret it with your ideas. Without enquiring her you cannot identify her problem.
ahhhhh their r 2 types of people 1 who tell us wrong way 2who tells us truth way but we dont know who is lier and who is truther but from my side i dosen't believe any person now a days we can't belive any one and we can't on ourselves.so its good for us that we dosentbelive any one.
Search for the truths that buried within the lies. Gather all clues and information as much as possible. That's my advice to you.
