How can I listen to one song over and over again. but I cant stand other music?
how can this be? and the song is perfect to me.
Answer:
you love the song. other songs aren't suited to your tastes . everyone has different music tastes, and you may not like different songs because they just aren't something you like
The last sentence says it all. There is something you identify with or creates a moment in your life that has meaning (good or bad) Maybe you could try a different style of music. (change the station)
See a Dr., sounds like you may be autistic there Rainman!
Maybe u really do want to cry but this song holds back the tears.
Perhaps the song is a trigger for you. You relate the song to a person/event in your life that you want to hang on to? By playing the song over and over you are reliving the moment.
Obviously you feel a real connection to "Don't Cry"! I wouldn't worry too much about it! Just enjoy!
to sell music sometimes it is repetitive (repetitive makes the brain grab onto something) or there is subliminal suggestion in it (suggesting that you like it, buy the song, etc.) Sometimes there are special tones that make our minds grab onto something just as some sounds were made or combined by musician experts (same as movies are) to make us say uuuu or ahhhh or ewwww. So I would think that you have an addictive personality in your trait or dna that holds you to the song.
