What is your fondest memory from your mid-40's?

realizing that I had a right to my own thoughts, old enough to make good desisions and young enough to enjoy them.

Getting married for the second time to the greatest love of my life. Sadly, he died suddenly almost a year ago.
At 41 I was wrongfully incarcerated and when I was released I dropped out of society and have been unemployed ever since and that was over 9 years ago.
do you mean there are actually people over 13 on here?
I got a new lease on life when I had brain surgery to attempt to restore my ability to walk after a stroke, the chances weren't very good, maybe 30% I wouldn't die on the operating table, 30% chance it would help, and 30 something % chance it would make me worse, or have another stroke. I walk fine now, I just can't walk far, thanks for asking.
Nothing, I want to be in my 20's again and it to be the 80's again when people still had morals.
