Dyscalculia. do any of you suffer from it, or know someone who does?

for a long time, Ive had problems with numbers. I have a hard time telling what time it is on a regular clock. I failed Algebra three times, but passed Geometry with flying colours.

I found out today that I may ahve a condition called dyscalculia. it's like Dyslexia, but with numbers instead of words

have any of you even heard of it, or had any experiences with it, I could really use some help.

Answer:

I wish to only offer you some encouragement.

This type of difficulty doesn't seem to be related to basic intelligence or the ability to think abstractly. Those are attributes that will you allow you to become a success in life.

You may need to resort to a small amount of obfuscation to obviate your weaknesses in this area.

In a metaphorical sense, don't let them see you cry. You can make up for this difficulty by emphasizing your other excellent attributes.
