I feel lonely, inadequate, depressed, extreme envy, jealousy, anger, and emotional ups and down? I need help?
I've felt like this for 4 years. I am extremely moody, hypersensitive, insecure, jealous, envious, resentfual, I sometimes go in rages of anger, fear and anxiety and extreme worry. My current living situation, with my parents and younger teenage siblings isn't helping but make these symptoms worse. I feel as if my life is in a rut. I'm working a temp job, I have a degree, and no money. I want to improve my life, which is what i'm working on now, but in the mean time the emotional mood swings don't help. Sometimes I stop the process of improving myself from time to time because of intense feelings of jealousy, envy, and dispare. I don't want to accomplish anything in my life based on pety feelings.
When the mood swings get really bad, every little thing agrivates me especially the company of other people ( my family who lives with me.
Answer:
I got on an antidepressant, antipsychotic cocktail when I was in a really bad spell of depression (it's been a reoccuring problem). What helped me the most was getting regular exercise, getting in the vitamins I needed, and talking to a counselor/therapist. Running regularly helps me clear my head like nothing else, vitamins help my mood stay up, therapy helps me determine the thought processes that are causing me to keep getting overwhelmed.
Sometimes it's a matter of making a list of what you want out of life and how you are going to get that, working towards a goal. Maybe you need a vacation somewhere completely different, maybe you need to join the peace corp or navy, maybe you need to change jobs, etc.
Good luck hon.
I have the same issue that you have. I have worked on it over the years by keeping myself busy. I work, take dance classes and spend lots of time with friends. If you have idle time it makes you think and brings you down, you just have to get out there and start enjoying life and have fun...you never know when this trip on earth is going to end.
Mediate. Close yours eyes for few moments, considering and soothing yourself.
Think about people who have less than you or in a very bad state of affairs.
Think of people living in Africa, starving and dieing.
You will get consolation.
I am in the same boat as you are. I recently had to move home with my parents and three sisters including my son. I have serious mood swings and am very violent from time to time. Sometimes I feel like I have to be this way to stick up for myself. The only thing that works for me is just to deal with it and control myself as best i can. I feel better when I talk to a good friend. I may try a counselor soon or something.
lol think like hafeez and you'll be slashing your wrists by this evening, you need to think of yourself and your life think deeply what do you want where are you going once you have the answer focus on that you want what ever and you need to get to b. then start doing it plan everything, if you go out with friends plan everything what you wear, where they may want to go and where you want to go, if ppl want to argue get in there face and give it back however don't go into an unreasonable rage think about what you want. your problem is a lack of space your living with your parents and siblings, you have a degree but it hasn't bought you instant life style so your self confidence has crashed. as some one said you need to stay busy but you have to do it for yourself and plan everything
who are you angry and jealous of? is it anyone doing better than you, cause in a frustrated state a lot of us feel like that.
what's your degree in ?having that must have given you a sense of accomplishment, pride.
i think it never hurts to go talk to someone.counseling is not the taboo it once was.i've done it whenever i couldn't help myself.don't rule out the possibility of medical issues.have a check up and tell the dr.what's going on.several conditions can make us feel bad like thyroid disease.good luck!
It sounds like you have severe depression. I've been there. I know that nothing but medication has helped me, it's just a chemical imbalance. Talk to your doctor.

You might be lacking sufficient vitamins and minerals, which help balance your hormones. Multivitamins, calcium, vitamin b6, and magnesium are great for bad moodswings. Or else try pms pills, like Pamprin. Do reasearch on how to improve your emotional well-being. You CAN change things.
