If you could add a thrid section to the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children,?

what section(s) would you add besides a verbal and performance scale?

Answer:
Good question. I work closely with our school psychology specialist and my mother is an educational examiner; I am familiar with the WISC.

A suggestion for a third section to the WISC might be a creative scale, some kind of standardized measure for the area of the arts such as artwork, music and drama.

I know there is a standardized measure for creativity; my daughter took that and scored off the charts. It might make a more accurate snapshot of a child's level of functioning to include this kind of subtest.

If you are doing a project, good luck!
Well, actually the WISC-IV now produces scores for four factors--verbal, perceptual reasoning, memory and speed. These were derived from factor analysis. This was a big improvement. I wouldn't add anything--to do that would change what is being measured (as originally defined by David Wechsler).
