I need some help with my "feelings"...??
Answer:
I felt this way, and on occasion? Still do. I finally broke down in my GP's office during a routine visit for a cold.she asked me a simple question, and I began to tear up and eventually, for no apparent reason, tears streamed down my face.
She suggested a low dose of an anti-depressant and a change in my diet. While I am not a fan of relying on medication, I decided to give it a try. I did change my eating habits as well. I can't say that I feel absolutely wonderful, its only been a month since these changes in my daily routine, but I do feel that my head is more clear and I'm not quite as emotional. (now when I cry, its for a real reason...).
Its hard to change hormonal issues that happen, but it seems that you know that you're having these changes, so I would bring it to the attention to your doctor. The Doctor may have totally different advice than I received, but at the very least, they will be aware that you are having these symptoms and can help you to make the adjustments that your body probably needs.
Good luck, and happy smilin' ! (ps? pinch your sister for being a wise ***)
well i can't say wht u should do, i think u need some time alone and i think u need to chill, like go get a massage, get a new haircut, engage in a new sport, do sonething different, and maybe u might feel better, u jsut need to treat urself right, and talk with ur parents about the problem too
ehh i have the same problemm.. :(.
I have the same problem. A couple days ago i found myself tearing up cuz it was gettin ready to rain. I find that if I talk to someone about stuff it really helps. Friends truly are the best cuz they can always make you smile, or if you just find someone who has the same problem it can help.
what age bracket are you in? when i hit the 12/13 yr old mark, i was exactly the same. it is just hormones honey. i am also the same around the time of my period - bursting into tears at absolutely nothing. my brother always used to do the same thing - always asking if i was going to start crying. jokes back on him now that he and his wife have now had a daughter!
if you are not in this age bracket, perhaps you should see a dr. it could be depression or a hormonal imbalance. you may need some help - either medicinal or counselling.
good luck. hope you start to feel better soon.
my son who has asperger syndrome also has been having this sort of issue and has been diagnosed with mood disorder n.o.s. ( not otherwise specified ) he has been undergoing more counseling and diagnostic tests and it looks as though he may end up with a bipolar diagnoses. Your sister i'm sure just doesn't know how to help and comes back with the snide remarks for lack of knowing how to help. I would talk to a doctor or your parents and tell them that you are feeling this way and don't understand why. You made need counseling, medication or both but either way it's GREAT that you have been able to see this yourself and are willing to do something about it. Your parents have shown that they care by asking you what is wrong and I think the best first step even though difficult could simply be telling them that you don't know and need help understanding why you are this way. Good Luck to you =)
It maybe puberty,my dear.
Don't worry about it, your body is going thru all kind of changes that affect your emotions as well. When the feelings start to occur, just go with it, and it will pass. I am much older now, and I too had the same experience. It just means your growing up. As you different events happen, you will learn how to handle your emotions.. It happens to us all, mostly girls... guys just don't have the emotions as much, unless their gay.. which dont' get mad at me. it is true.. take care..
You're just in that phase where communication is hard and your going through so many emotions. most girls become very emotional or cry easily and often right before their period. Its perfectly healthy to cry though, it healing and its a release. But theres also a time and place for it. If you start a job soon and start crying there.then...
