Do you fear death ?

Imagine living in a country that is engulfed with terror every day an explosion and every day an intense death occurs , what would you do if you lived in a country like that , how would you feel under such terror and chaos?

Answer:
I feel life more than death--and the harsh reality of what you're talking about actually happening every day to people, it seems death is more of a pleasant ending than living like that.
I don't know
there are times when i do fear death...the thought of being buried 6 ft under all alone and cold..my body decomposing ...i dont know..
If a situation like that ever happend to me, I would do what ever I could to make it better. Who wants to live in a place like that? I don't think you can even consider that living. That's just trying to survive.
Yes i fear of death!
Especially as a Muslim.
So many things i havent done right..
and so many sins...

death can come anytime any where.
being in a country engulf with terror
will just remind you
to enjoy everyday as it is your last.
In another country? When I was trying to get home on 9/11, I felt like I would be dead before I got there.

When I was crossing the street to catch the bus the other day and gunfire broke out, I felt "a bit worried", shall we say?

I would surmise however, that those who live in constant fear of death would feel like soldiers in combat. G-d help them all..
when you die, its just bad luck, if you are destined to die nothing can save you, you are no longer in your decomposing corpse you have left its shell, like a hermit crab leaves its shell to find another one. sure i dont want to die at all, im not afraid of it though, im afraid of any unbearable pain that might go along with 'how' you die, but hey, it cant be that bad, every man on this planet has died before us. you are probably less frightened about dying if your faced with it everyday cos maybe you get desensitised to it?
I fear death in a nice, quiet, friendly community. Wouldn't I feel MORE alive in the conditions you describe? The world is not a logical place. Ah, karma.
No, I don't fear death. If indeed we go where we've been told all our lives, seems like it's a lot better place to be than here.

About living in a terrorist-infested country...I would imagine it would be awful. Those people have probably never known any different, though. They may think it's that way everywhere if they've been oppressed and brainwashed enough to not even THINK what it may be like somewhere else.

It's a terrible thing to imagine, but depending on whether or not I lived there and didn't know any different, or had been somewhere peaceful and DID know different, would probably govern how I'd feel.

Remember, home is home, no matter how miserable it is. Take some of those ppl away from their homes, they'll still get homesick. Ever hear the old saying, "You'd miss a toothache if it went away"?
The most terrifying experience one can have is the one that kill you inside day by day. Fear, Hate,
remorse, guilt, wrath, etc., and that can happen anywhere around the world.
You can't fear something you know nothing about.
What would I do in a place of terror? Do everything I could to get out & No I don't fear death.
