Do some online personas give evidence of the Jungian concept of the "Shadow"?

Does online anonymity tend to bring out and attract areas of people's personality and psyche, that they would normally fear and try to repress? Do these repressed traits tend to manifest themselves in someone's online persona?

Answer:
Yes, but not always. Most people, I think, are themselves online. However, there are those who let their alter egos go, either intentionally or subconsciously.
I think that you bring up a great point, and I do think that this does come through (to a ceratin point) in one's "online persona".
