the word "evil" lol i dont have any strong connections to the word, if you turn it around it spells "live" its just a word
I personally think of lame teens and bible thumping fools who use that word more than 'hello'. They have no idea what they are talking about, usually. I feel much better when they aren't around.

When I first saw your question, I got a mental image of the mayor of Sunnydale turning into a giant snake (finale of the 3rd season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
Why that image came to mind I'm not sure.
That is so weird that the post before mine mentioned Buffy, because I thought of the "First Evil": The origin of all evil and the last "villian" in the last season of Buffy. Crazy.
