How do I deal with my problem?
Answer:
It sounds like you are experiencing "panic" or "anxiety" attacks. Very common----but YOU do need to seek professional help!!
I used to have them as well---Have had a wonderful Dr. for several years---I do take Prescription when needed.
God Bless and Good Luck!!The term for being afraid to leave home is agorphobia---not sure of spelling-----fear of leaving home. I had it really bad after the death of my mother----after the shock wore off----it really kicked in. I wish you wellness and healing!
go to your regular doctor and he/she will refer you to a phyciatrist.. go to a phyciatrist not a phycologist
You need to get a therapist--a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Talk with your regular doctor or maybe check in the yellow pages.
If I were you i would forget about it
I have the same problem. Just stay around the people who love you, take care of your hobbies and if you don't have, find one, practise sports as they help to get the tension out. Finally, if you want to get help from a professional, it's better to do that. May be a therapist or a therapy group can help if that didn't work with you.
me too , but i like chamomile tea , cymbalta {most any doctor can prescrbi it ) and meditation . if i pace myself a little slower that helps too . peace
Your family doctor would be a great place to start. You need help to get over this rough area in your life, so your great qualities can shine thru. Don't wait, get the appt, made and get on with your life!
make an appointment with your local mental health facility, there are drugs to help you with this problem. I am a waitress in a huge restaurant and one of the girls I work with had not left her home, for over 2 years, even to grocery shop, well she was given a prescription and within 1 month was able to work in a very busy atmosphere. It would be worth it if it would work as well for you.
There are actually medications that help deal with anxiety and the issue that you are referring to. You need to first see your family doctor or look for a community mental health clinic that can diagnose you correctly then help you to find some counseling as well as a psychiatrist or a Doctor that deals with this and help you find a medication and psychotherapy combination that will alleviate these issues so that you can begin to enjoy socializing with others.
I wish you the best of luck I understand the difficulties that you are going through.
