I'm not getting the hang of my new age yet and its been almost a month?
Note: Please don't tell me that I just have to get used to it, or that I have to go see a mental health specialist or something like that. I'm truly an ordinary person; its just that for some reason I'm all of the sudden very depressed. (10 pts best)
Answer:
You've got your whole life ahead of you. Your far too young to be depressed. Look around you make a list of all the good things around you, your family, home, friends your future!
Life is for living and live for today, make each day count. Don't dwell on your age your as young or old as you want to feel. Have fun when you want nothing wrong with larking about and acting 10 or being more mature when another occasion arises. LOVE LIFE
maybe you just had so much fun being 12 lol its no big deal you'll get used to it .
This is how I felt, sad that I felt too old to play on the playground or sit around and watch cartoons and do simple stuff. Well I just started doing age appropriate stuff, but I never take anything seriously, I do it with a friend and think about how I'd do it if I were a little kid. Next time you do something that makes you sad, think about how a little kid would do it, and do it that way. I'm still doing things this way. But be careful because it's gotten me into a little trouble here and there.
this time will go fast just thank god you are only 13 and not 62 like me
Don't worry, sweetie, you'll get the hang of it. Sounds to me like you're working through who you are, and eventually you'll realize that who you are is just fine. The boundaries you've become accustomed to no longer challenge you, and the idea of testing the new boundaries can be intimidating. You're not yet responsible for your life yet; you still are young, but you're no longer a child and it's scary. Relax. You are not the only person going through this. Everyone does. I am not surprised by your feelings; I can see a very high intelligence at work behind your question. My advice to you is to challenge yourself even more. Read, read, read, read, everything you can get your hands on. Challenge yourself in school. And my wish for you is one friend who completely understands you, a Jane to your Daria. Good luck.
