Is forgiveness really beneficial?

Yes. When you forgive, that person no longer has power over you. You release them from ownership of you. You don't have to have contact with them, you don't have to like them, you are just able to move past them.

they say it is beneficial indeed, but personally i struggle with forgivness after enduring so much wrongship at the hands of others...so personally i havent found the answer yet on how to forgive, but im still searching.

definitely, more for yourself than the person you're forgiving even. hatred and anger for someone, can only inhibit your life and make it hard to trust, leaving you bitter and angry. once you make a conscious decision to forgive, you have let go of all that bad stuff, and now there's room for positive.
