Does anyone believe that life is WAY to fast paced today?

And with this face paced life style, we miss the small, little, beautiful things in life, since we are also on the move and never have time to stop and enjoy the moments?

Answer:
thats what people have been complaining all thru the ages. life is in your hands whether you want to take the time to smell the roses or be a workaholic to keep pace with those ahead of you.
yes i am a firm believer on that one and the reason being is because i have 5 children and society now days make them grow up way to fast. kids dont have time to be kids anymore nothing like it was when i was a kid
it depends on how you feel about it.
Personal choice, my friend.
Yes true.. with technology and advances we focus on things and ignore other things. and dont take advantage of treasuring the moments.. its sad!
In the old days:

Let's say you were at work and needed to get a research project done. It would likely take you almost a week or more to research a topic, and your boss would push and say he wanted it in 5 days.

Now technology has given us marvels for research and achievements at work, but here's the catch. Let's say that same research project takes you three or four hours online, but now your boss and the business world demands they want it in one hour or sooner. There's a push to expect everything instanteously and not allow people time to think, experience, dream, or see the little beautiful things.
Yup.
This whole business with atom clocks to be 'on time' and our own must to be places,do things 'in time'.
I have a feeling like there are a inner time and a outer time.
The outer time are the system to circle planets and such in a good way,the inner time are more about seasons and shifts like solstices etc
We got a national time in Sweden as the railroad demanded it
in 1870 or so,before that the time could differ.Who knew?
No one was on time more than so and so.
And,We all want to wake up by ourself and not know what weekday it is.
This is what i call a GOAL! Such a system would be good for us all.
One day may alarm clocks be found on museums only and while the schoolkids snicker and giggles at it the the info person tell them about the stupid era between roughly 1850-20000?? when we couldn't sleep or nothing!
(i hear the protest-Shh!)
The small things you fear to miss are right in front of you.

I Say its about to be content with the present. Or run like hell down the (?)grave to taste shrimp-vanilla and have a USB port for any eventual new fudge-maker/coffee-dryer(?) etc

Or??
One thing I learn from living in hawaii for 5 years is my life in the san fansico bay area was passing me by with great speed. The first time they locals in a park i was staying across the street from at the time said relax Mark why you in a rush? kick it here with us and drink a beer and play horse shoes, when i was about to be late to meet my fast paced girlfriend to go snorkel on a boat that was leaving in a half hour.I realized that i could catch another one, Now I stop and smell roses,I look at the stars at night, I give myself me time like the slowskies on that comercial. Please don't let life pass you by too.
