Need help interpreting my dream?

I dreamt (very real), that I walked into my kitchen & there was a huge web across from one cubbard to the next, blocking the walkway(pathway), I felt a little frighten because I do have an ick feeling towards spiders(and this would be a BIG one), then there was a movement in the right hand corner--something too large to be a spider(I was hoping anyway), I take a closer look & it is a beautiful small white & grey owl.it looks at me with I want to say love.and moves, I thought it was caught in the web, but it was actually making it..any ideas?

Sounds to me like the web symbolizes an obvious obstacle in your life, but an obstacle that is very clear to you, and that you understand very well why it's there. So well that you almost are used to it, or "expect" it to be in your life. (The fact that you don't run, BUT actually "look closer" to make sure about what you saw in the web, indicates that you're actually confident, and not THAT scared even though you said you felt "a little scared") My hunch is that you've spent time thinking about this obstacle in your life and becoming familiar with it, maybe even analyzing it. The owl seems to symbolize something totally different than an obstacle. It seems to symbolize your OWN HOPE and immediate outlook on your life as it stands now, and also how you will be dealing with this particular obstacle. And that is with a positive attitude, and with confidence.

it is your conscience telling you that even though it loves food, that you cannot eat too much and is saying this by blocking your way to the kitchen.

Your wiccan or something along those lines aren't you? Is the owl your spirit guide? He may be trying to warn you about something.
