Is it expensive?
i could not find any free online sounselling service and are afraid to call one myself. i would like to see a psychologist but i am afriad that the cost might be high and i might not be able to afford it. can anyone provide me with details how much it is going to cost to visit one?
Answer:
yes, it is expensive. can you just imagine - he/she sits there for three hours with three different clients, and he could afford that mansion and car? they will tell you that you have not forgiven your inner child, that you have issues with your parents, that you have to be careful with the rest of the world, because everyone has lots of unresolved issues, because if the world were normal, they would lose their jobs... try calling one through the yellow pages and ask how much they charge for telling you that there's something wrong with you. (i'm just kidding.)
If you have health insurance a lot of the time this will offset the cost of the visits, and you will only have to pay a copay. To see a psychologist without insurance will probably be more expensive however I'm also sure they take finances into consideration when working out pricing. Your best bet is to call you insurance company or your primary care physician and get a referral to one.
