Why cant I be a NORMAL teenager??
Answer:
OMG hun!!
Its soooooooooooooooooo normal. I am 23 now (w/ 5 year old kid).
I swear I HATED being a teenager. It sucks ou dont know who you are? Why things happen? Relationships suck! Fears and tears!!
But the good thing is I promise!---it gets better. As you get older you will realize more about how things happen and not be so worried.
I am still scared of death! Men or should I say boys!! hahah. And Work!!
Its part of life. You will feel better soon!
Hope it helped.
Chrissy.
im not afraid of anything
nobodys perfect..eveyone has flaws. that is NORMAL.
No one is normal.
cus you are human.
You feel the need to be in control all the time, and if you want to live without driving yourself crazy you need to understand there is not much you can control in this world. You have some control over your own life and have the power to make it as comfortable as you possibly can, but no one knows the future, it could be good or it could be bad, and none of us knows when we will be taken from this world. You can't keep worrying about things you ultimately can't control. Go live, you're wasting time.
Just calm down.
You may want to see a psychologist if the problem persists, it could be paranoia mixed with the onset of depression.
And you don't wanna be normal. Trust me, when I was in high school, the worst times were trying to fit in with everyone else. When I finally broke free of that mold I felt so relieved and happy. Just be yourself, don't try and be like everyone else.
But if these kinda problems persist, the worrying, I'd suggest seeing a councilor or something, just to be safe.
Don't worry, you're not alone. Even though many teenagers seem to be carefree and optimistic, you don't know what they're thinking 24-7 or what they're going through. They also have the same problems. What you're going through is really normal for teenagers. I'm a teenager, I fear death; so does about everyone. lol. And I fear losing someone, once again, that's the death factor. And illnesses come and go. Thinking about illnesses will make you ill. You don't have to change for other people. The only reason for you to change your personality or stance on life is for yourself. You're normal. You don't have 6 fingers or one testicle. LOL.. jk You'll survive..
Hope this helped.
:)
Maybe you should be tested for ocd.

But if you really think you have it, you should see a doctor.
First off, normality is subjective so to me you are normal. Worrying isn't abnormal, it's a sign of affection or attachment. What you have is an over-obsessive attachment to what you worry about. Being scared is something else, for it implies fear. Fear is simply giving controlling and belittling abilities to the unknown. Again, its normal to fear death at any age. What could be causing this is a lack of security, without security I'm affraid your "normality" will suffer.
I guess its just the sensitive side of you is slightly more than the positive and happy side of you...sometimes i tend to worry all the problems that you are thinking...sometimes in the night i would have all the "what if " questions, as in "what if i suffer from cancer and die the next morning?" " what if i wake up and find everyone gone from my life?" etc... and i my tears would form...i guess i'm just being paranoid and thinking too much...so maybe you can try reading happy stuff such as stories with happy endings to keep your mind occupied so that you will not tend to think of all these problems that might or might not happen...
cheer up!
dont worry .
firstly calm down u r self and remember that no one is everlasting in this world.
so no need to worry about the thing which is not in our hands.
do meditation every day.
just close u r eyes and take deep breathes .ok
U R A NORMAL TEENAGER
and more happier than u r friends
think of this when ever u get into dipressed mood
Hehe. Don't worry. You ARE a normal teenager. Sure, every other girl and boy flocks around, care free and what-not, but most of them probably do that to cover up the fear and questions that they hide.
You will, indeed, control those fears. You will learn to accept death, loosing close ones, and illness.
Do NOT feel that you are alone. Everyones worries about alot of things, and if you maybe talk to other people about this, they might be thinking the same thing.
Oh, and think POSITIVE+

Probably because you are intelligent enough to see the world for what it really is. Your friends haven't reached that point yet, or they have decided to live regardless of the threats that they have no control over. I mean lets face it, you can die the second you leave your house, but worrying about it will only prevent you from living. You sound like a smart girl, take precautions, but don't let fear rule you. The more you go out and experience life the more relaxed and enjoyable life will become. : )
Oh, most of us know your pain all too well. One of the things that i realized after high school is that all of the problems, the fears, the insecurities i had, everyone else had too. People your age act like they are happy and they have their **** together, trust me, they don't. Even the most stable person you know goes home every night and wonders why their life is so hard. If you think there is such thing as a happy, well adjusted teenager, you are fooling yourself. Just wait a few years and it will all makes sense.
There is no such thing as a normal teenager.
What you are thinking about is what is on every ones mind.
People are always thinking of one thing or another that would put the fear of God into them, or would scare them witless.
Teenyboppers, teenagers, young adults, the middle aged, and the old.
We all worry about death, loss, sickness, but we all talk about what we wish for or want. A car, a train trip, the guys down the hall. The new neighbours cat, and the man in the moon. But we do not talk about what we are afraid of. We would see a rapid decline in invitations to party's, and people would politely leave the lunchroom should we make an appearance with the idea of talking about our thoughts on death, sorrow, & loss.
We don't speak what we think. Everyone keeps their thoughts on those subjects to themselves.
