Why do people think they "know" you when in reality they've got it all wrong?
Answer:
They apply what they see in you to their own personality and they assume that you think like they do.
Because they can only see us. They can't know our emotions or feelings unless we tell them. That's why only close friends and family know that person better.
it is because they know you just from your appearance and talking ,but they are not your friend ,they have n't contacted with you for a long time ,so it is natural that they don't know your real preferance .to really know a person needs time ,you can't expect anypeople who see you at first sight and than he can be your soulmate ,or then what is the meaning of real friend?
People generally try to portray themselves in a certain light, if many people see you in an inaccurate way, then I'd wonder if I'm giving the wrong opinion of myself by my own actions. If it is an isolated case, then obviously it is your friend's problem, and you need to clue them in.
Due to lack of knowledge people behave as such
Its just because people are too much judgmental in the sense that they have over pleased themselves. They're just merely jealous or they are just merely prejudiced and ambiguous.
On the other side, people would just want to dictate you on what to do because of that they think that they knew you. Many people tend to tell a lot people that they knew some people in which they come to acquaint such people or meet such people and was able to find something trivial from them and that's it they are ambiguous.
If nobody sees you, you only have yourself to blame. Only YOU can show the world who and what YOU are.
I like to think people have an idea of who I am based on what I show them.
