It's difficult to accept that someone must die. It's always difficult. Death seems to be so pointless. I think You should think much about her, about all happy moments You shared with her. Maybe it's not much but I'm sure she will feel your good energy that shows her way straight to heaven. She'll be an angel.
I am sorry to hear the news about your ant. I just lost my mother to cancer on March 25th of this year. She battled the vicious disease for 7 years. The best thing I can tell you is to be grateful for the time you had with her. If you cannot be there for her to hold her hand then call her or even use the Internet to your advantage. E-mail pics and try to have video conference with her and the family.
The best thing to do is to show her that your a strong individual. Make sure she is happy and has no regrets in life.
