I've never baked a cake before so i really don't know but i really do think that you should say sorry to her face to face. As you grow up, ur gap between ur relations with her will become bigger so u should start now nad talk to her what you find wrong and tell her your thoughts okay..?
I suggest that you approach her and tell her in a gentle, but serious voice that you have ruminated about past events and have decided that you were wrong. And, then, ask her to forgive you.

That simple phraseology will mean much more than any fancy cake.
