Oh when he called he said that he didnt want to talk but just called because he knew I was thinking about him and I wanted to his his voice.

Your guy friend thinks he is a player. Who calls and doesn't want to talk, that's just dumb. If you want to hear someones voice get a tape recorder.

I gotta agree with Mugwump. He appears to be manipulative by trying to put the suggestion in your mind that you really wanted to hear his voice. Be careful with this type of guy. If he is successful with this little manipulative approach, he will feed off of it and become even more so.
while i agree with the others that he could be a player, he may just be shy and using that as a tactic when taking to you.
maybe you could ask him straight out what his deal is. :)

Ok, heres the deal. He likes you, your attention you give him, the time of day you give him--must be good to him and you like it...c'mon admit it, you know you do!! You guys are totally flirting with each other. He wants to hear you confirm the idea that you like hearing him talk to you. He wants to hear you say "yes, i was thinking about you". Does he think you are too shy to initiate anything by yourself? Or is he a trash talker that likes the attention? You ca judge him best by the sound of his voice and if he looks at you in a funny way.

He think you Are obsesses with him and you are wanting to call him everyday. You do need your space. If he is annoying only 1 thing to do , Drop him. He wants to be you man so bad he doesn't know what you are feeling. ask him questions and see if he loves you enough to leave you alone for a while
