Split personality?
Answer:
I would lean more toward a mental in balance. He needs to go see a Dr and may even need some medication. But this is going to be tough since he has no idea that it is not normal.I would talk to his parents and ask them some questions and dig into his childhood.Good Luck
yes
I think that you and him should try a couples therapy, sorry thats just what i think!
hmmm, this is very interesting, i would try to get him to the doctor for a full evaluation. off hand id say he's ill
He is probably dealing with unwanted change or stress. Some people do that by masking their insincerity in a different voice. It has to do with Intimacy issues. You should see someone before it is too late.
hey, maybe its 'how to lose a girl in 10 days'...
no im jk. its possible. there are several different personality disorders that this could qualify as. you should probably talk to a psycologist or something. even look up on the internet for a good fix. i could probably give you a few examples but its been a few years since my psycology classes so i cant really recall any right now, sorry. it could have to do with stress about the baby. maybe presure that he feels he should marry you but hes not ready. all kinds of options.
but dont blame yourself. i dont think he is perposly trieing to upset or disrespect you. with personality disorders you cant really help what you do, and your not consciouly attacking the people around you. so, just talk to some one and have him talk to someone, but dont beat yourself up about it.
Have you ever saw Secret Window with Johnny Depp??Thats what you just reminded me of.Get him to a doctor, thats not at all normal or funny! And I am so sorry.Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
Go stay with a friend or your mom. This is a stressful time without him adding to it.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), is a mental condition whereby a single individual evidences two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The presumption is that at least two personalities may routinely take control of the individual's behavior.
The diagnostic criteria also calls for some associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness, often referred to as losing time or acute amnesia. The symptoms of DID must occur independently of substance abuse or a more general medical condition in order to be diagnosed.
However DID is quiet rare and dissociation is a demonstrated symptom of several psychiatric disorders, including Borderline Personality Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, to name a few.
A pregnancy in itself and the impending birth can be a stressful time especially if other negative things are going on as well, he needs help and you need to look after yourself and the baby foremost.
