Priminent Ego vs Self-Confidence?
And those who are self-confident maintain a more controlled ego? In these cases I've noted that the ego is guided by their strength of character, it is not the principal ruler of their lives.
What are your thoughts?
Answer:
If you are talking along the lines of pompousness, then yes. I think those people who put on a bravado actually lack confidence. I notice that a person who is authentically confident also has a level of humility that's particularly high. I think they realize that they are - and have been - susceptible to human error and don't need to boast because of the amount of ego and pride that needed to be swallowed to learn some of the tougher lessons of life. Reality will put one to shame every time when he thinks he's something he's not. If a confident person is good at something, who can challenge him otherwise? When a confident person is not good at something, they don't hide behind boastful ego, instead they admit it readily and either choose to improve or choose not and they do not allow that to diminish their self-worth. A human being doesn't have to be a master at everything to be secure and happy with himself.
I hope that makes sense. :-) Well. It makes sense to me on some level. LOL
I think confidence born of knowing the facts of a thing has a look all its own, different from people who bluster and try to grab the role of "the authority" on something.
there should not a word ego in our dictionary, we must be cool and self - confidential person, it leads success for our life..
