Ten points to the person that can tell me the name of this story?
I just got done watching Children of men its a good movie 4 no reason at all it made me think of a story that we read in my eng 102 last yr but I can't think of the name . Its based in the yr 3000 Ever1 has "disabilities" the disabilities though are like balls & chains 2 make them more equal. It starts out w/ the dad & mom watchin TV & listening 2 a story about how thier son excaped from prison he was there b/c he was a genius & they placed the most "Disabilities" on him of all the people in the world. His parents talk like they don't even realize it was him and u find out they have no "equalizers" on. So this means they already had disabilities 2 begin with. Ballerinas were weighted done in gains & balls. Mask were placed on them 2 hide their beauty. When we read bout it in eng 102 some1 compared it 2 a religous story. Like the genius kid was compared 2 jesus dying on the cross or somethin Im not sure on all the details so please could some1 tell me the name & maybe the story its self
