How can Social Interaction help improve/develop ones self?

please give me a reliable and credible answer. I badly need this for my report tomorrow in my Philosophy class. thanks!

Answer:
Humans are social beings, - and being experienced, with confidence, improves our self-perception.

It also allows us to leverage other's abilities to our own mutual benefits.
my answer is most likely wrong but i will try. i think it is experience of the interaction may help develop further knowledge of ones self viewing the positive and negative influences around us and which ones we consciously and unconsciously chose to develop us.
Through social interaction, you can share in their knowledge and wisdom, not to mention what you can learn about people! If you interact with the right people, that is...
Social Interactions help us develop our perspective of others and the self.
The main issue, you learn that there are others who go through the same things you go through..
We are like Islands which we all see the world diffrently... But, basically we are all the same inside...We cry, we laugh, we hate, we get jealouse and of course we fall in love... That is a crazy part of it..
That is a whole other issue... I hope your philosophy teacher doesn't give you, your final on love... I remember trying to answer that quesiton which took me about 2 hours... I can spend more time on it, but again socialize so you can understand your self and take risk and grow.
