Why do women obsessively smell their hair?

Since women generally have longer hair than men, it attracts and holds odor. Maybe she just wants to be sure it smells nice and not holding any odor.
She either doesn't realize she is doing it as often as she really is or she is playing coy with you:-)
They still have to smell like sugar, spice, and everything nice. Girls aren't allowed to stink.
I sometimes do that if something near me smells bad, because I know my hair smells good...if your co-worker is always doing it when you're around, maybe it's you.
I don't go around smelling my hair. Do you live in a large city with a lot of pollution in the air? Maybe that could cause them concern.
i dont think women do...unless there is a reason. Maybe she is a closet smoker and is checking to see if her hair is stinky. Or maybe it's just a nervous habit.
