If someone tells you a lie, you then tell the same lie to someone else?

I suppose truth is relative. I don't consider it a sin or negative karma or anything like that, because to you it is truth, and the intention of speaking the truth was there.
The truth is valid only up to the present time until proved otherwise.

ill put it this way if some one steals something and gives it to you can you go to jail.... yes its called theft by receiving so there for yes its still a lie. lol any way yes its a lie if i said Joe is black to some one and really he is white and that person tells some one Joe is black he is lien
Let's look at it this way- I told a lie to another person on purpose- this person repeated the lie to an agency- this agency never spoke to me or tried to get facts but imposed a derogatory judgment on me for it,in a letter. Both parties were later confronted about their actions,judgments & behavior.Legal action against them was a sure win!! That was all it took to get the facts straight.
