Why is love associated with the heart?
Answer:
Because it beats and with every beat it says I am alive, and you can love living beings and not the dead. Also the heart doesn't ask any questions , it beats beats and beats. If you associate love with head, than there are millions of questions and clarifications required before the mind can say " okay I agree" but by the time it says so generations would have passed and most probably love would have left.
Where do you feel it? Certainly not in your brain. You feel a lot of what's associated with love in your chest. The human body is strange.
Back in the days before modern science people assumed the heart was the control center of the body.
Because your Heart Aches when you are in love and some one hurts you!!

Because emotion is associated with fluttery feelings in your chest.
Because love can make you feel like your chest is hurting- if you are really happy or really sad. it may not actually have anything to do with your heart but it sure feels that way!
cuz love is warm, hot etc we find comfort from warmth

I guess Ive always thought its because being with someone you love makes your heart beat faster, and when youre hurt, it feels like your heart is aching.

Or perhaps because it's a centrally located organ... And when you are centered in love, everything else just falls into place.
I believe it's because the Greeks or Romans believed the heart to be the center of all human function (rather than the brain) so all human emotion was associated with the heart, but as science progressed it this turned out to be false the connotation stuck for some reason and here we are today.
Well I don't know the real answer but if I feel heartbreak it's in the chest area and that's where the heart is located too
IMHO i would say because it is an emotion and emotions are not associated as much with the cognitive brain.

It is a cultural and language thing. In our culture today, we associate emotions, in general, with the heart. Years ago, this wasn't so. In King James' time, emotions were thought to come from the intestines. KJV-Gen.43:30, Job 30:27, Psalms 22:14, Jer. 31:20, Lam. 1:20, Then look them up in a more current translation. Its pretty interesting.

...cause when your loving heart gets broken reasonably?...it hurts you and hits you in your chest first. your head just needs ultimate virtual reality fixing to repair the hearts true effectiveness otherwise..this sorta kinda make sense to you reasonably?
It isn't really. Since it is the liver that feelings come from, it's much nicer to attach the heart than the liver.
Because our heart is our emotional seat. From our heart comes love and hate. Thats just the way it was designed.
When you love someone its a overwhelming feeling in the heart and your brain doesnt function as pernormal
And when you fall out of love the pain is definitely in your heart region

love is associated with heart because without heart one cannot live.Heart keeps pumping blood into your body and your love keeps pumping happiness into your life.Without your loved one you cant live just like your heart.
