Why do you cry?

Beacuse Im sad,
or because Im happy
When I'm calm,
or when we're stressed
Because we want to,
or because we can't help it?
when someone dies,
and when someone lives
Why do we cry,
when someone else is happy,
and when someone else is sad?
when we don't know the reason why
We cry because we have to...
it's part of who we are.
Why do I cry? Or what prompts people in general to cry?
Release of emotions...sometimes its better to know you are still alive and not numb inside...and when you can cry, you are still able to feel.

if you hold all that in, we could explode, have a mental breakdown or something. crying feels good, releases everything with the tears.

When I feel like I need to cry, it's always because there is too much emotion inside of me to just keep inside.
It can be because I am happy, sad, devastated, and more.
There's just too much of whatever I am feeling.

I feel frustrated that I cannot get resolutions
I feel sad that there are so many injustices in our world
I feel upset when my spouse and I fight
I feel lost in my own thoughts and emotions
I feel I need to release pain
I feel angry and violated
I feel manipulated
I feel an ache in my heart for friends lost
I feel hurt that I made bad decisions
I feel out of control
I feel undeserving of bad fortune
I feel hopless to the situation
I feel happy
I feel relieved
...
I cry because I feel...
But it's okay...
Because tears are sent to wash away...all of those things
Because I can.
When i'm alone.and only if I'm extermly sad, sometimes i can't cry even though i may want to, it's weird.
