How can someone enhance their will power?
Answer:
Be like the little Engine that Could. Just keep telling yourself - I think I can and eventually you will be able to.
believe in something and have strong convictions.
I always believe in baby steps. Little things building into bigger things. and no matter what dont get discouraged and dont give up
Really depends on what it is.
I like to shop and have nice things. so I make a goal for myself that if I follow the budget rules- I get a treat.
1 year of not shopping= 1 coach purse.
Paid off all my debit- 1 massage
I guess you could say I bribe myself :) but it helps me achieve my goals and still treat myself.
I think that will power can be made more powerful by taking an honest inventory of yourself and seeing what is important to you that you need the will power over. If it's weight control you feel the need to have will power then you need to take the time to figure out what it is that is chipping away at your will power.
God gave us all that we need to live a normal and powerful life, all we need to do is harvest those powers and put them to good use. You are the one that controls your will, no one else. Take charge of your life and search from within to see what is stopping you from living the life of your dreams.
Good luck on your journey.
Take care,
We have natural qualities in our Psyche that most of us have yet to tap into. when we balance ourselves mind body and soul to reflect the person I'm meant to be... most of our natures are not reflected in societies, because society often reflects a religion which is the persecution of diversity and individuality... so when we over come religious and societal training and we become ourselves we have better control of our whole being. mind over matter means working with nature not against it.
Will power is like a muscle. It gets weaker as we fail to use it.
The more you practice will power, the stronger you become in controlling your destiny.
