How do you communicate with a visual person?

i have a friend who is visual. (no he is not deaf or mute) according to some of our friends he gives attention to visual communication than talking. what does this mean, and how do i do this effectively. i would like to get to know him better.

Answer:
Find a subject you would like to talk to your friend about and get pictures to support your conversation.

You can always doodle things on a piece of paper while you are talking to give him something to look at during the conversation.
I'm a visual learner and I find that I communicate best with people when we make eye contact.
You don't have to just say some thing positive you have to show it with your actions. (You have to give visual clues also)

It may well be that he is shy & unsure of what people are saying & looks for the visual clues that people give off.

The thing is that the visual clues we give off don't always match what we are trying to say.

The visual clues may be closer to the truth of how we feel than the words we say.

If your visual clues say you are pleased to see him what you say won't matter too much.

If you are truly pleased to see him it should really show & you needn't worry. Just be your true self with a pleasant smile when you see him & it should go well.
