I scored 137, 141, and 152 on 3 seperate IQ tests. What d these scores equate to (please be nontechnical)?

If you did take a proper psychological test and if it was a Wechsler, the pscyhologist or counsellor should have given you a report...which makes me wonder what's going on...I'd ask the psychologist who conducted the test for a report. If it wasn't that test, I would not base anything on these scores in particular. And you couldn't have got 3 full scale IQ scores on 3 different Wechsler tests since in that case you would have done the preschool, the children and the adult versions...and I doubt any psych would have made u do that...

different IQ tests have different scales of measuring IQ...
there's a test from Mensa that they use to figure the top 2%...I think the dividing line is somewhere btw 125 and 132...(what the top 2% is varies because each generation has its own average, like 100)
there's another test from Intertel and they take the top 1%...they also deduct 10 pts because it's a test derived from Great Britain...their dividing line is around 142 (their 152)
there's another test that's used in evaluating people that's not rapid-pace word associations...these tests involve blocks and sequences of pictures...I'm sure you can figure that's even a different scale...
I have a neighbor who says he's a 4th sigma...not to be too technical, but a bell jar turned upside down gets pretty thin in the hinterlands the farther you go out...
there are other groups that take the top 1% of the top1% and so on, but Mensans have more regional retreats (close to where you live) and they have SIGs (special interest groups like chocoholics and book review)...even though Mensans are only in the top 2%, they consider themselves geniuses...IQ doesn't seem to be related to how intelligently you live your life, and you might want to co-found a support group for dysfunctional Mensans
all you get from Intertel is a 20-pg flyer and maybe a retreat halfway across the US...
the higher you go, the fewer the people, the rarified air up there is a pretty thin slice of the population)
Marilyn von Savant (savant "wise"--get it?!) tops the scale at 208...she's got a book out on how to keep your brain cells sharp by staying in learning mode)...try her book to see if you can contact her about which of the various IQ tests supplied her IQ score
