Does frowning produce pimples/zits??

my brother said that if u frown to much it causes pimples/zits..

Answer:
No, frowning a lot just gives you wrinkles later. Not washing your face, eating a lot of junk food, getting close to your time of the month, etc. are all causes for pimples.
no that causes wrinkles and if you eat unhealthy things or use bad products on your face your most likley to get pimples and zits
no just wrinkles later on in life
No...your brother is telling you an urban legend.

Rob
nope, just wrinkles
one rule. ..never listen to ur brother. thats not true. lol
its usually the other way around. pimples/zits cause frowning ;-)
No, but frowning is a symptom of meanness and we all know that mean people get more zits...
no frowning causes wrinkles but if u eat something like chocolate it could cause pimples. Or puberty.
Dirt and oil cause zits along with hormones.
no, what the hell is wr0ng wit u? That has never been proven
No- pimples/zits are caused by blocked pores and sometimes by hormones. Although eating chocolate or fries doesn't cause bad skin, touching your face if your hands have grease from food on them can. Grease/ dirt blocks the pores. Hormones from puberty can also contribute to zits, so can high amounts of stress.
Well...

Your brother may not be entirely incorrect. While it's true that the act of frowning won't cause pimples, it's also true that people who frown a lot have more pimples than those who don't frown.

Individuals who frown are often frowning because they are sad or stressed-out. These emotions cause chemical changes in the body, resulting in more oil production, impaired immune system, and constricted blood vessels. When someone is sad, they're skin becomes more oily, pores become clogged, those pores become infected, and body can't fight the infection because the immune system has been compromised.
