Will This Feeling Pass?
Answer:
The only thing I did at 21 that I hadn't done before was vote. Now you only need to be 18.
you're confusing "can do something" with "should do something". whoops. for example, we have the freedom of speech. does that mean we should go around insulting people? no. when you are given new freedoms, it is your responsibilty to exercise those freedoms with restrain, responsibility, and maturity. I'm sure you'll be able to do that.
Stop freaking out. The feeling will soon pass and you will get so bored. You won't even remember how old you are. Eat it up now...you'll be a quarter of a century before you know it. :-)
You are having anxiety. It will pass. After my child was born I got anxiety whenever I took him to the babysitters. I wasn't used to having him at first, that caused anxiety, then I got to the point where I wasn't used to not having him with me and that caused anxiety. I'm fine now. New and different experiences can cause that. Don't worry about it. If you lost or spent alot of money that can cause it to. lol : )
There is nothing wrong with what you did. You probably felt a high knowing you COULD do those things. And, probably feel jittery today because not everything was what you thought it would be. You did it and now you have to decide if the 'liberties' of being 21 are what you want to take part in. See? Being 21 brings on more responsibilities - nobody is going to tell you what you can't do anymore... the responsibilities lie within yourself now. Please, I beg you, do not gamble and do not get into drugs! And do the rest in moderation. Life can get more exciting from here on. Enjoy life! Happy Birthday, too!!
I think its a phase of emotional shock from having everything change so quickly for you. If this is the reason, it should definately pass. But, I know the feeling, and it feels pretty weird.
Maybe it just felt better for you to break the rules by having
forbidden fun before you became of age. Now that you're
legal, more personal responsibility is now on you.
Perhaps you're beginning to realize that and it's freaking you
out. Stop stressing. Welcome to adulthood.
just something new,and easy.most likely you drank beer before reaching 21,the hassle of tiring to get it ,has turned to ease.21 years of society telling you can't do this or that,is a long time.
all things will pass.
