So, I have recenlty become numb to feelings of hate and anger to others around me?

im trying to work on it but im not sure how. and by numb. i mean insensitive to others feelings and almost always emotionless when someone is upset. i just like to laugh.

i want to work on this but not sure how to?

Answer:
Try to be more quiet and reserved when it comes to the news of sadness and agony. Don't laugh, and just be polite and more sympathetic, like "I'm sorry that happened"...even if that sounds like pity. It's better to be full of pity than to be sadistic.
i am experiencing the exact same thing right now in my life. i try to fight it, try to be more understanding and polite...but i get irritated over every little thing. hope you find a good answer.

Wow, it's sounds like you are not as numb as you may think, seeing as how you are aware of this. I think that is a good sign!
Become genuinely interested in other people, instead of thinking about yourself all the time.
mabee you have become numb for a reason....that issue needs to be bealt with first. Then you can become more sensitive to others. besides being numb to feelings of hate and anger from others is good...isnt it why let it bother you. now if your numb to your own feeling of hate and anger towards others then that will cause problems
I am like that too...But I found out that I never got empathetic because I really am to fragile to handle the burden. Laughing it off is easier than getting yourself emotionally invested in someones pain...It was a self-preservation thing
