If you are 65 plus? Are you still working and if not what do you do through the day to keep" busy?
Answer:
My grandpa doesn't work, he sits at home, drinks his booz, and watches reruns of Walker Texas Ranger.
Not many 65+ year olds know how to use the internet. If they do I don't think they are looking at FunQA.com.
do activities, such as golf, or something that you enjoy. take a walk, read a book, join up with fellow retirees. volunteer somewhere, it really depends on what you are passionate about
reed, go 4 a walk, have coffe wit some friends, cooking shows r fun, have family over
My mother-in-law, my mother and my father are all older and not working.
My mother-in-law works 2 days a week at the church, goes to church, helps with her sick family members, visits the hosp., cans, cooks, cleans, visits her out of state kids, takes care of her yard and her dogs, shops, etc.
My parents work 3 days a week at the church, visit the sick, camp at least 3 months of the year (cabin not a tent!), vacation 2 months of the year, go to church, volunteer at the jail and the prison, take care of my aunt, volunteer at the school.
I think the key is finding a volunteer area in which you feel that you are needed and truly contributing to society. Our parents feel needed, and a reason to get out of bed every day.
My mom is 65+. She has hobbies that she works on like sewing, scrapbooking, she goes walking and swimming. She doesn't leave her house much so she signed up for some movie channels for her TV so she can seee movies without going to the theatre. She also works hard at making friends. She talks to her neighbors, some of them are in their 30s and they will come over to just talk. I think you just need to pick something and go for it. If you don't like it then try something else. If you can get around don't stay home all day. Get out of the house. Keep good friends or work at making some.
Will not reveal my age. Forgive Affirmed Spirit is my game.
