Can anyone say they are truly happy?
Answer:
Yes, if their sadness does not overpower them, they are truly happy people, and very fortunate. Most are not that fortunate.
Yes.
sure !
I'm truly rappy. I'm truly tappy. I'm truly scrumptious.
I'm truly happy. There, said it.
I can say that I am truly happy.
I found that once I slowed down and really made everything in my life "simple"(for lack of a better word) I began to become more aware! suddenly I gazed longer, smiled bigger, laughed louder and loved with everything I have!
No, not really. Happiness is always fleeting in its truest sense. What you can achieve is true contentment with life ... thats worth a lot. Happiness is just a step up the ladder now and again ..
Yes. It may sound cliche but the fact you are alive and well and here today should be reason enough. Live in the moment each and every day.
I've always seen happiness as kind of fleeting. It reminds me of one of those esoteric particles of matter that only exist in a physicist's lab for a fraction of a second under very rarified conditions.
It seems to me, as soon as we are "truly happy," the phone rings and something needs to be paid, somebody died, the car breaks down, the boss is pissed, etc.
I think a lot of people get in trouble with themselves because they're under the impression they're supposed to "truly happy" all of the time. It can't happen, otherwise we would be "truly happy" about everything.
What people can be, I think, is "content." Content to accept themselves, deal with what life hands out and make the most of it. And if they find that you're truly happy along the way, enjoy!
I am generally the happy type. But, recently I met someone who matches me beautifuly. I swear she is an angel sent from God. I find myself extatic now and smiling all the time.
y.e.s....life's too short to be miserable!! :)
A person can be generally happy most of the time if they choose to see the world from a positive perspective. Bad things happen, but ultimately knowing there is a reason for everything and believing that everything will work out in the end can keep you from dwelling on all of the distractions that will keep you from having a positive attitude.
Yes. There are always going to be people who are truly happy.
You may think that you can't ever be truly happy because you will always be wanting more, but that is not the case. Some people are perfectly content with their personal and professional lives; are just fine with their financial situation; wouldn't want anything more, ever. It seems crazy, but there are plenty out there.
I suppose it depends on what you as an individual percieve to be happiness. Most people say that they would be happy if they were rich, but there are still many unhappy rich people.
I think in todays societies, real happiness is rarer than it has been before. The reason for this is because of lots of influences such as the media. The media seem to tell us how we should be and what we should want, and people feel that if they are not at a required standard or status they can't be happy.
I think that enlightenment would show us what it is to be truly happy, or even just the journey towards enlightenment. I don't think happiness is found outside us but inside.
Great question by the way!
You can only be truly happy if you have been devastatingly sad.
No. We will always find something that could be better in our lives.
No, not really TRULY happy as there is always a demon lurking in your past or even a bleep in your present..not to mention what's lurking around the nearest corner?
At the moment...am the happiest as can be!
So, not TRULY happy, but waiting for it! (It will come.it's my turn)!muhahahahehehe

I have a friend who is truly contented. He views me as a manic absurd creature forever striving for answers he believes cannot be found. He says I'm a malcontent always on the brink of hyperactivity. I would not swap places with him for all the tea in china.
I will be able to say that I am truly happy only if I could know that I have been able to save myself, my family and friends from hell.
Or I will able to say that if I could know that we are going to heaven.
no i don't think so.to me we are very complex beings with so much we need or want.this makes it hard for us to be truly happy.
realistically lets think about it.we as humans have a more developed minds which pushes us to think higher and higher.take the simple exam of a kid given pocket money lets say 30 dollars he or she will realise there is more they want to buy and therefore will go back for pocket money only this time they will want more.
however much u don't think materialistically,u are not fully happy.lets say the sisters in catholic churches must think of ways to get closer to God all the time and this forces them to be unhappy because they could they wish for God to talk straight to them so that they can tell Him how much He means to them.
I guess there is a period in your life when you say you are truly happy even if it is for 5 minutes!
well im not so there !
i used to be..and thankfully i knew it at the time...and am still able to remember it
happiness is a stae of mind
it is achieved through meditation and self belief
