Will you go Mad If..?
Could this lead to insanity?
Answer:
Sure could
yee!
Actually I think it could lead to happiness. So many people are awful and just do you wrong.
I dont think so
I would definatly.
not necessarily..
It appears that way. Look at all the serial killers and their lonely childhoods.
You need bondage to survive, my friend!
Yes! For me omg I'd go nuts I love connecting with people on a personal level.
Btw..I LOVE Gandalf.
i dont consider my self insane yet, but bonding isnt on my resume . . I never have
No one ever completely bonds with someone - so I guess we are all doomed to insanity if your presumption here is acurate.
Good Luck!
I think it's terribly important to our psyche to have a close bond with someone. It can be romantic or platonic, but it's my believe that everyone needs someone.
you won't go mad..it wont lead to insanity but there could be this unresolved feeling..until you find a proper closure.
Insanity or "destroy the world" urge, which is again insanity...hmm. YES:)
no, but it is a disorder called reactive attachment disorder--it is the failure/inability to form meaningful relationships or attacments with other people
I've read physiological studies where infants/small children were left without any human contact, only contact was to feed. No show of love or compassion to these children in this study. Most of them died. The rest had severe mental handicaps.
I would think so yes.
I can't see that it would cause madness!
However if it is troubling you, why don't you just see a counsellor and find out if it is a symptom of other greater problems. It may not be a problem, only your perception of what is happening. It is good to get an unbiased reflection of one's own behaviours sometimes. It can give you some peace.
This a blessing for you if you in this stage, you will attain enlightenment and become a saint or sage. Your mind will be pure and immune from any bad influences. Cheers!
probably
I dont about insanity,or going mad, but since we are a social creature. It would not be a possitive thing in our entire life to be unbonded from society, or any individual.
Quite possibly leading to an earlier death maybe. You should know that Gandolf..The wizard of all wizards.
Complete isolation could lead to insanity.
You might miss some fun along the way, but mad and insane? No! Not necessarily!
No, some people are just loners and like to be alone more.
you definitely need people around you to keep you sane... i dont think you wont get mad if you never completely bonded with anyone... as long as you are interacting, and bonding...
no man is an island so they say somethings are just beyond bonding moments... you may have actually met a person that you really could click but you havent realized it...
you think your relationships with anyone is not complete? what makes it complete? really? people think to much that constant companionship and being always together is the only way to make everything work...
I don't think so, I don't think your chances are worse than anyone elses. Your sanity also depends on you personally, what kind of person you are and how isolated you are. If you have no trouble talking and relating to people and getting by in the world, then you should be OK.
Your sanity also depends on what exactly you mean by "completely bonding with anyone, ever". It is possible to go through life without having a "significant other" as they say, and be perfectly sane. However, having a close friend and / or soulmate can lead to a more fulfilling and happy life.
You could always ask a mental health professional what they think or know about this subject, or read a good book on the subject, or look it up on the internet, ya know? You would then be able to find out what issues you might be more inclined to have problems with, like feelings of loneliness, insecurity, etc.
But mental illness, or insanity?? That's kind of extreme, unless it runs in your family, or you're somehow coming in contact with something that's actually poisoning you, like mercury or something, ya know?
Personally, I think you'll be fine.
Did you know diet can also play a part in your mental health?
As you may know, without vitamin c in your diet, you can contract scurvy. Also, without one of the b complex vitamins, i think it's either niacin or thiamin, you can contract beriberi, a disease that can affect your mental health. They discovered this disease in the the U.S. when they found that rice from the southern U.S., which was being polished, that is, having part of the rice or the shell removed before being brought to market. The part that was removed had the vitamin in it, and the part being sold did not, thus depriving people of the b vitamin and creating a rash of the disease, beriberi. In more extreme cases, people with the ailment become easily irritated, and in most extreme cases unable to function. Nowadays, you hear how its healthier to eat "whole grain" rice, wheat, etc... because the whole grain contains the b complex vitamins.
So, make sure you get your b complex vitamins !
Again, personally, I think you'll be fine.
