Is boredom the absence of busy?
Answer:
Boredom is a condition characterized by perception of one's environment as dull, tedious, and lacking in stimulation.
This can result from leisure and a lack of aesthetic interests. Labor, however, and even art itself may be subject to a critique that includes boredom as one of the signs of inauthenticity and alienation.
There is an inherent anxiety in boredom; people will expend considerable effort to prevent or remedy it, yet in many circumstances, it is accepted as suffering to be endured. Common passive ways to escape boredom are to sleep or to think creative thoughts (daydream). Typical active solutions consist in an intentional activity of some sort, often something new, as familiarity and repetition lead to the tedious.
Most would agree that the fundamental cause of boredom is leisure, which of course implies that boredom is most problematic in a life which combines wealth with a lack of artistic talent and aesthetic values.
sure
Boredom is a result of immaturity.
Yes and it's also the absence of fun.
Boredom is the absence of mental stimulation and/or personal responsibility. It can also breed in a dissatisfied person who lacks the proper motivation (probably from an outside source) to change. ;)
Being busy can sometimes bring boredom if you do not like what you are doing. so whether busy or not, we still have the tendency to be bored. but for me, sometimes, boredom is all in the mind.its a choice. if we choose not to be bored then love what we are doing.
it can be. you can party and boredom wouldnt exist. well then stop feeling bored and start feeling excited.
Its not necessary that someone is not bored, when busy.
Boredom comes, when you end wondering, and lose the sensation for things around you.
No to boredom is not the absence of busy because I'm not bored when I'm not busy. Busy to me means doing the things that I have to do not necessarily the ones that I want to do. So if there is time like now or earlier doing the day I will either start using the computer or reading or writing. Being bored to me is something that happens to children who don't have the capacity to entertain them selves. And to me that is what boredom is the inability to comfort your self or to take care of your self by providing something to do so that you're not bored. On the other hand being bored can lead to some pretty good story lines, inventions and other ideas, Some of our great music and art has come from someone who was bored and was trying to think of some way to get rid of the boredom.
