Does anybody have phobias?
two reasons i am asking this--
1)curiousity:) I wnat to know what people are afraid of!!
2) I have a rather odd phobia of the frizzy edge of a paper, like when you rip it out of a notebook. I dont know why but it makes me sick and I freak out if I have to touch it or look at it. Or with paper ripping, or being crumpled. Does anybody know what its called? Is there a name for it?

i have a phobia of snakes and elevators. pass out on occasion beacuse of this.
I have a fear of snakes, insects, spiders basically anything creepy, slimy and crawlyyy..I freak out when i see a butterfly in my backyard....
Fear of dirt AKA Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder & fear of pests & fear of snakes, spiders, & dogs. Fear of death & fear of heights.
I'm afraid of roaches... ;-)
I don't think you should really put too much attention to that kind of thing with the paper. It's quite a strange reaction and if you don't like it, try to overcome. There might be something that happened to you in tha past involving papers or if not, just simply forget about it.
Until i was like 12 i had Tonitrophobia which is Fear of thunder. It just freaked me out. Yes there is a name for what you feel: You may have Papyrophobia - which is the Fear of paper.

It's defined as "a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of paper", each year this SUPRISINGLY COMMON phobia causes countless people needless distress.

i think u might have ocd Obsessive compulsive dissorder because im the same way like if i see shredded paper i just have to make it even...even if it like has no perferated line thing ill get scissors and make an even line and cut it but then again my whole life revolves around the number two so i have symetry/eveness issues

Don't have a name for your phobia darlin, nor mine. I have a phobia about the Biblical Illiterate trying to teach the Bible to Christians. It happens so much all I see is the poor people massacring the real intent of the Bible. Literally ripping it right out of context!
