Have humans made life poinless?
So the question is: Do you think the way of life the people before us have sculptured and forced upon us, has made our life, now, more and more meaningless over the years or do you think this is as good as it gets and our lives are lived to the fullest each day?
Answer:
I realized that when I was about 12 years old when I saw my parents struggling with money but never gaining anything in the long run. Just working their jobs to get by.
School teaches you how to be a good little employee. If that's what you want, them embrace it!
Otherwise, do some research for yourself. Learn how to make yourself money instead of making someone else money. Start a business, invest, ect. There are so many ways(not talking about illegal deals).
It's good that you have realized this. This system was designed by the people who have money because they want to keep you pseudo poor so that you keep working for them and making them money. Credit cards, mass consumerism... it's designed to keep you uninformed and in debt.
Read some Robert Kiyosaki books, good place to start. Rich Dad Poor Dad, I definitely recommend.
Money is quite evil and controls many people. It's very hard to avoid, though. So it's best to mater it instead of it mastering you.
possibly. But humankind has always played these kind of games. There were always inventions, currency, labour, slavery, forms of exchange, conflicts, politics. It's a structural environment in which people can abide by and live in somewhat of a free way. Technology is growing, and we head in to new territories. Our knowledge of what's around us is expanding. The meaning of life never changes though, and that is to love others, and be good to other people. So life feels pointless if you lack love and relationships, because then you're just in a cycle that seems like your life is being washed away. You just gotta be entertained and smell the roses along the way, and hopefully do things which make you happy and challenge you in the long run.
good q buddie will star u in a second
i think all life is pointless if you look at wild animals they dont dont much but eat sleep n poop

yup! don't it just make you wanna die? aaarrrgggggg
omg i have thought about that 2. but that is a very pessimistic way to look at it. U have to think about the good things in life-hanging w. friends and family, vacations, etc. You have to be able to appreciate those little things that make u happy. Our lives probably aren't as meaningful as they could be but that isnt the fault of previous generations. U have to give our life meaning. Find a job doing what you love, have a family to take care of that will really give your life purpose, life is only as good as what u make it. Live it to the fullest
I believe everyone is responsible for the activity in their life. We start our lives in a uterus. Birth will result in an opportunity to experience our choices as we encounter them. Many of us choose to get a good education in a discipline that is marketable. Many of us choose to get an education in education, and become teachers,and/or professors. All of us are born with a predilection for an educational interest. If one chooses to seek a specialty in work that, even though it's boring, it's safe, oh well. People are living wonderfully active lives which are financed because of intelligent investment, and these people are in the 70's, and even 80's. So please, seize your opportunity. Wet blankets are not welcome.
I take it you are human too. LOL I believe technology has robbed us of our own original concept of values, and morals and goodness. So yes , the viscious dogs ate all the little dogs and now we have "MOGULS" that manipulate our society with their megolomania. I want to see people grow their own food again, stop eating all that trash, that is infested and toxic with hormones ,pesticides and salmonella and who knows what else. Over 31 people were recently sick with e-coli , and 2 people died, a couple miles from my house at a restuarant where some Hispanic people butchered a goat in the kitchen after hours. I rarely eat out and am scared to death when i do . We need a cleaner environment and purer food not to mention global warming and pollution and everything else that people should be concerned about other than just "making Money" recklessly and being greedy. Doesn't any body care anymore? I guess the bottom line is : Do you go to bed happy and contented every night?
Well, the way you describe it sounds really bad, but life isn't like that for everyone. 9 to 5 can be great if you love what you're doing with your life. If you're miserable in your job, then you're in the wrong job. I'm not living in misery right now, just looking forward to retiring and starting to enjoy life then. I'm enjoying life now. Some people get a lot of pleasure out of driving nice, shiny new vehicles, or travelling all over the world, or buying the newest gadget on the market. Those things don't do it for me, and so it doesn't matter that I don't make a lot of money because I love doing what I do. To each his own ... you just have to figure out what your "own" is.
I think life right now gives us a lot more choices than people had in the past. A determined person in North America can set a goal and find a way to achieve it. Goals and dreams create hope in a person, and hope gives you a reason to get up in the morning. If your goal is to have a big house, then going to work every day to pay for that house is fulfilling. If your goal is to throw a 90 mile an hour fastball, or get a hole in one, or surf the perfect wave, then you get fulfilment in the parts of your life other than work. I think the point to life is to figure out how to enjoy it while it's happening.
My mate hit the nail on the head with this simple answer
"We just exist, we work and exist,we get by, work and exist and for most of us thats all it will ever be"
I nearly hung myself when he said , but hes right and you are so give me the points!!!
sometimes
Life is like this... it's yin and yang, positive and negative. We need a balance to live life and grow. Problem is, not many people make the most out of what they have... They count up the negatives but rarely the positives. Positives always outrun the negatives... but people don't notice that. Individuals choose routines, life doesn't dictate that. I think... who knows :)
We have the power to sculpture our own lives.
Your life is yours to make the very best of.
Mistakes, we all make them in our lives but looked at from a positive perspective we can learn from them.
Our parents and grandparents have had influence in the foundations of our lives but we have the tools to build whatever edifice we wish.
Now you can build a mud hut if you so wish.
I'm into building a palace.
That's a very thoughtful question. I think the point of our lives, is to learn from each experience; good or bad. From the good times, we learn to continue along as we are; from the bad times, we learn what 'not to do'. Let me assure you, once we retire there is still plenty to do, to learn, and to enjoy.
