What things would you recommend everyone do/try out in life??
Answer:
Travel is important, new challenges and contexts help you learn more about yourself...
Read The "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," it will help you accept the absurdity that is life...The movie version is entertaining, but lacks the profundity of the book...
Never be afraid to ask questions or look foolish...Many people waste away in quiet desperation because of these seemingly innocuous fears...
Don't assume that you really know anything, always be willing to take a second look at the apparently "obvious truths" in life...Human knowledge is mostly opinion with an accidental sprinkling of fact...
Become a notorious liar...But be really bad at it. Having a sense of humor is very important and saying whatever pops into your head can be fun, as long as you know the other person knows you're joking...
sky diving
Travel far,far from your home.
Get to know how to read a map, navigate highways, talk to new people and see new things.
Go fishing, crabbing, hunting (even for antiques) and do whatever the natives do.
Best education of all!
Good question.
Good luck
Ok, some things that changed me alot;
going on a hike, learning to drive, overcoming a fear, gorge walking
If I think of anymore I'll edit this
visit another country. the culture shock of being the foreigner, not knowing their language, having to rely on your wits and learning about their culture is actually really fun. you'll come back with a different view of the world.
Shooting target board...or people.(depend on what kind and what type of gun)
Someone who has betrayed your trust can make you look at the world a different way.
I'm so much more cautious with everyone, I wait for someone to earn trust now. I also make sure that I am always worthy of the trust placed in me.
Spend a year living in LA
then spend another living in NYC
once you got those two behind you spend a year living on a Native American reservation...
Be surprised how much you'll learn about human nature and behavior in three years
Take some classes of interest at the community college (whether you're a high school drop out, or have a PhD in something--there are still interesting classes out there).
Go see the ocean. This is beautiful nature.
I would recommend that everybody live by themselves, for at least a year out of their life, not with a roommate , but by themselves, not to near their family, and not be in a serious romantic relationship at that time.
