Toughie, you've been reading my mail.
Like me, you're bored. You're probably hanging out with boring people and that's why you feel the urge to be sarcastic. Find some new friends and new interests.
TV is boring. Give it up and find a good book. Liberate your mind and try alternative methods of entertainment.
Face it...sometimes being sarcastic is fun. Have you ever thought of doing stand-up comedy?
First try to focus on the here an now what I mean is try rubing your hands together and literly try to fell the sensation I know it sounds crazy but try it or tryrubbing your hands on a desk or pay attention to the wheather this sounds weard but what it does is stop your mind form wondering off it gets you focussed on the hear and now. What it sounds like is you might be experiencing a mild case of depression.
Since you like books, I suggest you read something of real life events like WWII biographies and the likes and you might begin to see how grateful you should be, you get bored in minutes while there are other people fearing for their lives every seconds in a living hell, you might come to realize just how insignificant are a lot of things that we are all fussing about sometimes. Self help books like how to win are good for everyone but sometimes will backfire and make you feel unfulfilled unless you really has that passion to succeed. Also you dont have to be offended when people say something you might not want to hear, no need to expect them on what they have to say to you or how they say it, just don't attach yourself too much to the words of others, take what is useful and discard the rest.
Are you working too hard? Trying to do too much? Stressed Out? Thinking too much?
I think you need to take a break, at least for like 2 days, maybe during the weekend, not have any responsibilities or obligations and just take the day off. Don't think about anything. Relax and take it easy. Especially don't think about work.
I think when you are used to brainstorming, analysing stuff, and thinking about ways to solve problems for extended periods of time, you do the same thing in your day to day life.
And thats why you see sarcasm in what people say, instead of just taking it at face value. You are thinking too deeply. When it comes to day to day living, try not to think so much.
Don't try too hard, and just take life as it comes.
