How would you describe this person?

This is a "friend" i have known for the past few months.

She has a partner who cheated on her with her best friend recently and this has happened before with her.

She is a compulsive liar at times. just lieing about things left and right and doesnt own up to it when she is caught lieing.

She is is an outrageous flirt with many guys (including me) and gets them to think that THEY are the guy she is really interested in ,but then ignores them once they begin to pick up interest. and if they lose interest she will flirt with them again enough to get them to pursue her some more.

and she likes to complain about her cheating partner with them and make them feel sorry for her and she asks if she should leave him or not, and i guess they alll think she might go with them instead.
but she then turns around and ignores them after and flirts with around 10 other guys and have them thinking she likes them.,

what is your clinical problem?

she has many friends too.

Answer:
she seems very cold to me, someone starved of love. Can't give and can't receive it.

I had a 'friend' who lied all the time, too, it got very draining to be around her. She constantly craved affection/attention.

I befriended her, after her boyfriend cheated on her, but years later it all came out, that she had been constantly cheating on him, and he had a lucky escape.
But to hear her talk, he was a complete b@stard.

I don't know clinically what you call it, but, I always felt she was deeply unhappy and made up these stories, to make herself out to be more than she was.
All she was , was a lying, cheating , manipulating toe rag,
Insecure
She sounds insecure and needs to validate her self worth by proving to herself that she can make others desire and pursue her. Drop the crazy beatch. I can't stand liars.
Thats quite scary. But I would call her a Compulsive Lieing Flirt. OR you could say she is only looking out for herself
She is someone that is starving for attention!Yet, she is very afraid of real intimacy. That is why she stays with a jerk that she is unhappy with because she knows that he will never give her his heart.Everytime she flirts with someone new she kinda feels like she is ready to be intimate, but when the guys reciprocate she gets scared and runs for the hills.
actually interested why you are so preoccupied with figuring out this person? hmmm, are you perhaps a little jaded because she is not with you? let her go if she is really how you described her, she may be histrionic (a drama queen)
This girl is what you call "in it for the chase" She always needs excitement in her life. The best excitement upper is love. Also, in her head, she has to have the upper hand in the relationship. She does that by trying to get a million guys to like her so her boyfriend will see that he has to always please her because if he doesn't, then she can possibly leave him for one of the many guys she has on her jock. The guy, most likely, cheated because she made him so insecure about himself from her own insecurities. the end
She is a controller and a manipulator. For some reason she gets a thrill out of controlling another person.

When I was much younger we had a name for this sort of female. We called them C0CK TEASERS.
She's a woman?
insecurity, a need for attention
she is a person who needs and wants to get on with her life her way.
Sounds as though she has low self-esteem. Her bloke and best friend betrayed her, her bloke has cheated before. She craves love, attention, and reassurance that she is attractive, desirable.but when men show an interest, she isn't interested because she doesn't want sex or anything with another man.

She obviously needs to find a way of making herself feel good.
