The content of dreams don't often mean as much as the feeling behind them. Who is attacking you, is it someone you know? Someone who is close to you? Are they angry at you? Are you angry at them? Are you surprised, hurt, frightened?
Depending on your answers, your dream could suggest you feel insecure, unsafe, threatened. If the people who are attacking you are people you know, it could be that you feel threatened by that person, or by a situation where you often see that person (e.g. if you are being attacked by a co-worker, you may not feel threatened by that person, but rather by the work environment in general).
Try to think of your dreams as an analogy for how you feel about life while you're awake. Dreams are exaggerated versions of waking emotions, what could that mean for you?

are you concerned about people damaging your influence or reputation ...though, you still may be dealing w/ it (maintaining it) i.e. not actually 'die'?
do you watch alot of movies with killing in it or think about dying or death? ...most dreams are fragments of thoughts and things youve seen all jumbled up ...dreams dont mean anything tho
