Is a person with passive agressive personality disorder aware of their problem?

I think they do. I know a lady who is passive/aggressive. She says things to hurt other people. She will tell a lie within hearing range of the person she intends to hurt. She comes off looking like a sweet girl and the person she has hurt many times retaliates and says something.Then she comes off looking like the victim! I want to shout at people don't you see what she is doing?

Not always, sometimes it takes someone else to tell the person that they're acting in a passive aggressive way. I'm passive aggressive, and I'm about to seek help for it myself.

They may but they don't want to admit it. They think they're too perfect to have any fault. That person lacks balance and needs to calm down and have some tea.
If they are they are very passive about it or get really aggressive with you. That or they are in a total state of denial most of the time, even when you let them know about the disorder they exhibit.
