My house really needs cleaned!?
Answer:
OMG I have been where you are right now. I too lost my job and became severely depressed. It is the most awful feeling watching your house get messier and messier and having no idea where to begin, or even how to begin the task of picking it all up. There is unfortunately no easy answer. I think different things work for different people. My suggestion to you though, would be to take baby steps. Start out with small tasks. For example give yourself the goal of doing the dishes and putting them away. Continue to do the dishes daily. Then begin adding other tasks, such as mopping the floor, clearing the dinning room/kitchen table. Just keep building on what you are doing. Baby steps!
There is a great website designed for people like you and me. I have found it insightful and reassuring.

I recommend you check it out. Good luck to you. If things don't begin to turn around for you, you may want to consider talking to a health care provider. If you are uninsured, try and find a low income clinic.
Turn on the stereo and take some vitamin B to boost your energy! Start slow on the cleaning, just do small areas at a time!

I suggest that you need to prioritize your life even in cleaning or whatever you wish to do at the moment. Just be your true self and you'll be happy and peaceful.
Don't wait to get in the mood to clean, just start.
