Did anyone ever feel as if they were empty and didn't fit in the world at all whatsoever? Well, I felt this way, and it took much thought, many prayers, and a few months to realize that maybe will really do fit, accept in our minds we perceive it as we don't. I mean, we get rejected from people in our lives, and maybe we don't fit in a certain area or group of people. We think that by changing ourselves, we could fit. That's what I thought at first. But then, I figured that even if I changed, people would find fault in that change or the changed version of me. I felt empty. And it took me awhile to realize: we all have a place to belong. It reflects on who we are inside, and if we are untrue to that and change to fit in somewhere else, we can't be truly happy inside. While we are so convinced that we don't fit in anywhere, we overlook where we really do belong and the people who accept us for who we really are.By focusing on fitting in in an area that we wish to fit in although do not belong in, we ourselves trigger the emptiness within. We have to be grateful for where we truly belong and stop worrying about where we don’t. Because maybe we get rejected for a reason beyond that the people rejecting us find fault. The “fault” is not a fault at all, only to the people rejecting us. The “fault” is who that rejected individual is, and if that is the reason for being rejected, then it would work out for the better to stay with friends and people who care about who we really are. Does anyone agree with me? I think there’s more, but is this part of it?
Answer:
It's called overcoming the paradigm of duality.
It is a great place to start with understanding the nature of the mind and humanity. Try reading about overcoming duality.
That almost kind of made sense but I think you're overanylizing it. Sometimes it takes a move to another community or just a change of friends to feel like you can "be yourself". People who like you for who you are don't expect you to conform to the group.
I agree with the poster who wrote about Duality.
Learning to see the shades of grey in the world that loves black and white is the greatest lesson in growing up one can get.
Keep working at it, it sure sounds like you are on to something!
Good luck
